Dr. Michal Kidacki Receives 2024 Career Development Award for HS Research

March 12, 2024

The Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation is excited to continue its collaboration with the Dermatology Foundation by co-funding the 2024 Dermatology Foundation Career Development Award in HS research. This year’s $55,000 award has been granted to Dr. Michal Kidacki, MD, PhD, of Yale University, whose project investigates TIGIT signaling as a potential immunological pathway involved in HS. This research reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to investing in early-career physician-scientists working to uncover the biological underpinnings of HS and develop future therapeutic targets. We congratulate Dr. Kidacki and look forward to the insights his research will bring to the HS field.
