Treatment Guidelines for Medical Providers
Current HS treatment guidelines, based on established evidence and practice trends, are available through JAAD (see below). Updated, evidence-based clinical practice guidelines developed by the HS Foundation in partnership with the American Academy of Dermatology are expected in 2026. These will be featured on HSF’s How to Treat HS platform, a clinical resource offering practical tools and guidance to support consistent, high-quality care.
