Danby Research Grant
This grant supports new clinical and translational research initiatives aimed at advancing care for people with HS. Projects should spark fresh scientific directions and help grow the field.
Translational Research Grant
This grant is intended to launch novel translational HS research with the potential to lead to larger, long-term funding from NIH or other major agencies. The goal is to transform promising ideas into sustainable scientific programs.
Mentored Experience Grant

Pediatric Hidradenitis Suppurativa Challenge Grant
In partnership with the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) and HS Connect, the HS Foundation offers this grant supporting research focused on the mental health burden of HS in children and adolescents. The goal is to better understand, measure, and address the emotional, social, and psychological impacts of HS in young patients — an area where evidence is critically needed.
